Bernard Sumner – Acoustic
Yes, it’s true. I am a huge Bernard Sumner fan. Despite some detractors, I do like his latest project, Bad Lieutenant as well.
At any rate, what I say to critics is: when you do as much for music as Bernard Sumner has done and achieve as much as well, come and talk to me.
So that said, I came across these great acoustic videos of Bernard with his Bad Lieutenant band mates doing the newer BL material as well as acoustic versions of Electronic, New Order and Joy Division songs.
Getting Away With It is probably one my favorite Electronic songs. What really proves what a great song it is, is how well it holds up as a stripped down acoustic number. No surprise there really, considering Johnny Marr was involved.
